According to the latest report, a Google Pixel entry-level device recently appeared on the Geekbench testing site. What can be determined at present is that Google will launch at least two new models this year, one is Google Pixel 4a and the other one is expected to be Google Pixel 5 XL. Coupled with this new entry-level device now, it can be said to be very lively.
From the information exposed on the Geekbench website, this new Pixel is equipped with an entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, has 4GB of operating memory, and runs Android 9 Pie system. Although there is not much information currently known, it can be determined that this new device should be an entry-level product that focuses on cost performance.
As we know, all the manufacturers are now focusing more on low-cost devices in order to grab the big chunk of the market. The previously exposed Pixel 5 XL is reportedly not the same as the flagship model. It may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. It is reported that Google may focus on mid-range models in the future and give up on the flagship models. That makes sense as the mid-range market size is way bigger than the premium devices. However, the new machine, which was originally expected to be released in October, may be delayed due to the impact of the new corona epidemic.
