Google plans to launch its AI Search tools next month

Microsoft is making rapid progress in the search engine market after it introduced its Bing AI chatbot. In response to this growth of Microsoft, Google is continuously making efforts to introduce new AI-powered search tools. Some reports suggest that Google could introduce its AI tools by next month. The new tools have been named Magi. Google will introduce the tool initially in the US only. It will be limited to a few users. Later on, the tool will be expanded to more users in the region. It is speculated that the new tool will be built on the conversational capabilities of Google’s experimental chatbot, Bard.

Additionally, the company is also working on some other projects. The other projects are as follows:

  • Searchalong (a feature similar to Bing’s sidebar)
  • Tivoli Tutor (a language learning system)
  • GIFI (an image generator)
  • a radical rebuild of its search engine

Google spokeswoman Lara Levin said, “We’re thrilled about adding new A.I.-powered features to search and will provide more specifics shortly.

Well, it could be that Google is trying its level best to respond to the dangers posed by Microsoft’s Bing chatbot and OpenAI’s ChatGPT by hurrying the development of its own tools. Although the conversational chatbots are still in their early phases Microsoft’s strategy i.e., integration of ChatGPT in several services has given the company a major advantage over Google.

Samsung might switch its default search engine

Samsung and Google have worked in close association for years. however, given the immense growth of Bing’s AI chatbot, Samsung might switch Google’s default browser on its products to Bing. If this is so, then the deal of $3 billion between the two companies could be impacted by this decision.

It’s also crucial to remember that it’s not apparent whether Samsung is actually contemplating Microsoft or if it is merely trying to take advantage of Google’s difficult circumstances and negotiate a better bargain.
