Google Play Store is making alterations to highlight notifications and offers

Your experience with an app will get better and better with all these minor updates and UI alterations that are being introduced to the platform. According to Android Police, the latest update to the Google Play Store focuses primarily on notifications and options. Although this update seems to be a minor one, it’s pretty useful for users.

The Google Play Store has a dedicated section for all new offers and notifications. We don’t usually pay attention to that section. We tend to open the application for downloading required apps, and we never bother to check for notifications or updates. This manner of using the application makes us miss out on major offers and updates. However, Google is planning to update this with its latest UI tweak.

The Play Store is concentrating all of its efforts on notifications and offers

This update, which seems to be minor, tends to change the way in which you are using the application. A search bar is available at the top of your phone’s screen, along with a voice search button and profile buttons embedded inside it.

There will be some changes regarding the display after the update. The search bar will be limited to three-quarters of your screen and will not stretch to the fullest. Out of the search bar, the “Profile” button will appear on the right side of your screen. A new, updated icon for notifications will be available between the search bar and profile button.

The icon will show you how many notifications you have. By clicking on this page, a new page that contains two different tabs will open. The first tab will contain all your notifications regarding app recommendations, pre-registered games that are available for download, and much more. And in the second tab, you will be able to see all the offers that you can avail of. This tab will show you a comprehensive list of sales and events that may be of interest to you.

The latest update is in the process of being launched and will probably be available to you in the next few days. These changes can be seen on the Pixel 6, so we can hope that it will be available to everyone soon.
