HONOR is now developing a smart ring, following Samsung’s lead

Honor 60 Series

It seems like the smart ring market will experience growth in the next few years. At the beginning of this year, Samsung announced its Galaxy Ring. It was quite expected that other smartphone companies will follow the trend and it is happening. The Chinese company Honor has now unveiled its plans about a Smart ring. According to the company’s CEO, George Zhao, the company is working on a smart ring. He shared the news during a group briefing at MWC 2024.

Zhao reportedly stated, “Inside, we have this kind of solution, now we are concentrating on that part (sic), so you can have the HONOR Ring in the future.” No further details were shared by the executive. He added that a smart ring is a part of Honor’s wider health strategy. In any case, HONOR has competition in this market from both Samsung, a recent entry, and established player Oura.
