Huawei introduces the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro alongside the Mate X3 and P60 Pro in Europe

The Chinese company Huawei held a big event in Munich. During the event, the company shared the details about the pricing as well as the availability of the P60 Pro and Mate X3 in the European market. Alongside the smartphones, the company has also introduced new smartwatches i.e., the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro.

The Watch 4 Pro model comes with a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. It is based on sapphire glass. The casing measure 48mm and is made of titanium alloy. It is reported to be three times stronger than just titanium. On the other hand, the Watch 4 comes with a 46mm stainless steel casing.

Both smartwatches are provided with Always on Display functionality and several new planetary watch face options. Watch 4 Pro and Watch 4 are 5ATM water resistant. These smartwatches can track around a hundred different workout modes. Furthermore, they have support for tracking various health features.

Watch 4 series by Huawei comes with a new feature named one-minute seven-point health overview. It combines the health data from heart rate, SpO2, ECG, skin temperature, arterial stiffness, stress and respiratory into one single report. Furthermore, the Watch 4 Pro has LTE connectivity. LTE can be connected either via eSIM or onboard GPS.

Watch 4 can provide a battery life of up to three days of typical usage whereas Watch 4 Pro last for about 4.5 days. On the other hand, the power-saving modes can extend the battery life to 14 days on the Watch 4 and 21 days on the Pro.

Huawei Watch 4 is available in a black fluoroelastomer strap. It is priced at €450/£400. In contrast, the Watch 4 Pro with the titanium strap is priced at €700/£600 and the brown leather strap option can be purchased at €550/£500. Both smartwatches will be available for open sale in Europe in the coming weeks.
