Just now, Huawei’s Kirin official public account on Chinese social media Weibo issued a notice to announce the Huawei Mate X2, confirming that the new device will continue to be equipped with the Kirin 9000 processor.

Earlier news reported that Huawei’s strategy for the mobile phone business was basically to extend the life cycle of the mobile phone business indefinitely with limited chips. Moreover, Huawei has not stopped the research and development of the P series and Mate series, and subsequent models such as P50 and Mate50 will be released.

According to earlier reports, the Kirin 9000 inventory is about 8 million, and a considerable part is reserved for the follow-up P50 and Mate 50. It is speculated that Huawei Mate X2 will not stock much.
