Huawei to upgrade airport facilities in Pakistan that will minimize the queues

Chinese mobile giant Huawei is planning to provide state-of-the-art technology facilities to the passengers traveling from and traveling to Pakistani airports. The plan dubbed “Airport Solution” is an innovative solution which will help reduce long queues at the airport.

The system when installed will be able to detect faces and collect data including passport and visa information through security cameras. The security doors will be opened automatically when visitors will get closer to them.

Huawei has offered the solution to Pakistani authorities in response to growing number of Chinese and foreign visitors to Pakistan due to the mega project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This is to avoid long waiting and queues at the airport while focusing on better security checks and clearance for visitors.
