Huge Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with 7-inch 18:9 display and 5500mAh battery—can you imagine?

Xiaomi is setting the new tradition of large displays, hefty battery, large storage and RAM with midrange hardware. The Xiaomi Mi Max series is characterized by edge-to-edge large displays with all elevated specifications. If the rumors are to be believed which can be 80 to 90 percent correct, then Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will continue the legacy.

According to the reports from various Chinese sites, the Mi Max 3 will be featured with 7-inch 18:9 display and 5,500mAh battery pretty large for an ordinary phone user. But pretty attractive for the users who watch videos and listen to the music on the phone all day along. Thanks for the upcoming solution Mi Max 3. The phone is expected to carry Snapdragon 630 or 660 depending on the model.

These chips are considered midrange chips which create a handsome balance between the performance and power consumption; this means the phone could be used to watch hours of videos on a single charge with 5,500mAh capacity.

But these are just peanuts that Xiaomi Mi Max is expected to offer you, the phone also said to have dual camera setup and on top of that Quick Charge 3.0 support, you really need that don’t you? Having a battery with 5500mAh capacity should be charged faster to top it up as quickly as possible, you might have left yourself in the middle of something.

Some of the sources have also published rendered Xiaomi Mi Max 3 specifications but that are still rumored, the Chinese blog CNMO has published fake renders in the past so take them with a grain of salt. Even if you assume for a minute that those renders are true, then Xiaomi Mi Max 3 seems bezel-less with marginal space on top and bottom that is left out of the screen. The rumored renders also so fingerprint sensor at the top-center and shows bottom-firing speaker. You can also expect on-screen button.

The launch date of Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is unknown but we can expect the announcement of the phone in the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2018 in January. All the rumored specifications should be confirmed or discarded when it would be announced during the show.
