Indian Cricket Board Website Domain Expired And Went Offline

BCCI, the world’s richest cricket board’s official website went offline on Sunday as the board was not able to renew the domain of its website www.bcci.tv in time.

The registrars of the website register.com and namejet.com had put the domain name up for public bidding. The registrars received seven bids with the highest of $270.

The domain was valid from 2-2-2006 to 2-2-2019, however, the updation date happened to be February 3, 2018. The BCCI website is a major source of live scores and shows other information of key documents about the board’s functioning.

The more embarrassment was the board’s website went offline when the senior national men’s team was playing the second ODI against South Africa at the Centurion.

However, the website is now working fine. It seems that the officials of BCCI have resolved the issue and make the website live again.
