This program helps indie developers self-publish and promote their games on Xbox and the Microsoft Store on Windows. According to Microsoft, over 25 indie games are set to launch this week, with two already available to play.

“This is one of the busiest launch weeks ever for ID with 25+ indies games launching on Xbox! Today we start with 2,” says the announcement on X (Twitter). “Whether you are a fan of cats and board games or someone who enjoys action adventures amid the zombie apocalypse, we’ve got you covered!”

Quilts and Cats of Calico

 If you’re into cozy, cat-filled games with a puzzle twist, Quilts and Cats of Calico might just be your next favorite. Developed by Monster Couch, this game challenges you to sew colorful quilts that attract adorable feline companions. It’s the perfect choice for gamers looking for a relaxing, laid-back experience. UNDYING

On the other end of the spectrum, UNDYING brings a gritty, emotional RPG experience. Personally, Quilts and Cats of Calico might not be my cup of tea, but I can see how it would appeal to fans of relaxing, wholesome games. On the other hand, UNDYING looks right up my alley, and I plan to dive into it once I’ve wrapped up my current medieval adventures in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
