Infinix becomes First International Brand to Manufacture Mobile Phones in Pakistan

A leading Chinese smartphone-maker, Infinix has become the first global brand to manufacture its products in Pakistan, as per a statement on Friday.

Infinix in a statement said,  “Fully aligning with the country’s initiative of “Made in Pakistan”, the company keeps growing its investment to contribute to turn the country into a regional tech hub, and it just got one step further towards its mission and local commitment to put Pakistan on road to progress and prosperity.”

As per the company, it has fulfilled its goal of playing a major role in empowering the local labor especially women. It is pertinent to mention here that 60% of the workforce working in the Infinix Pakistan factory are women.

CEO Infinix Pakistan Joe Hu commented on the company’s mission and said, “Infinix’s vision as a company is to enrich our customer’s experiences, whether it is through our products, or what goes in their manufacturing”.

The company has claimed that it is the biggest mobile phone production and assembling company in Pakistan and its current factory has a production capacity of three million units annually.

Basically Infinix is the Hong Kong-based mobile company which was founded back in 2013, apart from Hong Kong which is the hub, the company has its research and development centers in Korea and France. Infinix is now available in over 60 countries the most popular markets of Infinix are Africa and South Asia especially Nigeria and Pakistan.
