The use of low-dielectric TTE should also improve the durability of the screens and their overall performance.
In contrast, Apple’s XDR display is used in the iPhone 16 Pro. In addition to a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, this also offers ProMotion, which enables always-on by dynamically adjusting the refresh rate. According to rumors, this function will also be available on the standard and Plus models in the next generation.
