Leak: Details about the first Lenovo notebook with Nvidia N1X ARM CPU

Nvidia wants to present its new ARM chip N1X tomorrow, with which it wants to offer AI applications in workstations under Windows with the highest possible performance. Lenovo is one of the first PC manufacturers to adapt the platform. Dealer listings reveal initial details.

Nvidia N1X apparently planned in two variants

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 will be among the first notebooks to use Nvidia’s new N1X. Apparently two variants of the chip are used, which are installed in Lenovo’s new workstation notebooks. The devices have recently been available from Eastern European retailers at prices well beyond the 3,000 euro mark. Nvidia is apparently planning several variants of the N1X, which probably differ primarily in their clock speeds. According to dealer data, the Nvidia N1X 650 and the Nvidia N1X 675 are installed in the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7. Of course, the dealer information does not yet reveal exact technical data about the chips.

Previous leaks assume that the Nvidia N1X has a total of 20 computing cores in two performance and efficiency clusters each containing 10 cores, to which Nvidia provides a “Blackwell”-based graphics unit with 6144 CUDA cores and 48 SM units. The N1X-based version of the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 will come with a 15.3-inch WQXGA display that uses an OLED panel and offers a refresh rate of up to 165 Hertz. The new Nvidia chip is paired with 32 or 64 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and a one terabyte PCIe SSD. The operating system mentioned is Windows 11 Home. In terms of price, the Yoga Pro 7 with “N1X 650” is listed for a good 3,100 euros, while the variant with “N1X 675” is priced at a full 4,000 euros. As in the case of ARM-based notebooks equipped with Qualcomm chips from the Snapdragon Update: Lenovo also wants to offer the Yoga Pro 7 15.3 in a slightly cheaper version with the so-called Nvidia N1. This is the slightly slimmed down version of the graphics specialist’s new ARM chip.
