Leak Suggests Apple To Release iPads And Watch In September And iPhone 12 On October 12

The discussion about the launch of the Apple iPhone 12 is entering a new round. Now an insider is talking about specific dates for the upcoming keynote, the delivery of the iOS smartphones, and the launch of new iPads and the Apple Watch Series 6.

Possible release delays for the upcoming iPhone 12 family have hotly debated in the rumor mill after YouTuber Jon Prosser another forecast for the next Apple keynote and the launch of iOS 14 smartphones. The recently well-informed insider assumes that the American manufacturer will appear with new iPads and the Apple Watch Series 6 in the week of September 7th. However, the presentation should not take place in the live stream, but rather without a major fuss via press release. And the new iPhone? Well earlier it was reported that iPhone 12 and new iPads are launching in October, but Apple seems to be too occupied with launching all at once, hence they pushed up the iPads and Apple Watch little upward.

Big iPhone event is not expected to rise until October 2020

Prosser predicts that Apple will not hold its next online keynote until the week of October 12th and will only focus on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models. Pre-orders for the “normal” smartphones should then still be possible in the same calendar week. The delivery, however, could take place from October 19th. If you continue to trust his forecasts, the flagships of the iPhone 12 Pro series will be delayed even further and will only enter the “pre-order” phase in November. Prosser has not yet announced an exact date here. This year Apple is to work on a total of four iPhone models with sizes between 5.4 inches and 6.7 inches.

In particular, the compact iPhone 12, similar to the iPhone SE, could prove to be a best seller. In terms of price, the entry should be possible from as little as 649 US dollars. Higher-quality equipment in the form of triple cameras, stainless steel housings, and “Super Retina XDR” OLED displays with 120 Hz will only be available for the iPhone 12 Pro series, which is expected to start at 999 US dollars. Despite many leaks and details, rumors of this kind should be viewed with a certain skepticism before they are introduced.
