LG Company

The company LG has announced that it has added support for various Apple apps across its webOS Hub. Reportedly, the company has introduced several Apple apps as well as features to different brands of televisions. The smart TVs based on the webOS Hub ecosystem will offer the users access to Apple TV and the Apple Music app. Additionally, they will gain access to AirPlay and HomeKit devices as well. It won’t require the connection of an ‌Apple TV‌ set-top box or any other hardware.

The company LG announced the latest development via a press release. On the other hand, the company has not shared any detailed list of eligible TVs. However, it has only been mentioned that the TV models based on 4K UHD and OLED that run webOS Hub 2.0 will receive the support for ‌AirPlay‌ and ‌HomeKit‌.
