MediaTek MT6893 6nm Process Chip Appeared On AnTuTu Platform
As early as November, when MediaTek released the mid-range SoC Dimensity 700, it was revealed that another flagship chip using 6nm process technology would be released in the future. At present, the running score data of this chip named MT6893 has appeared on the AnTuTu platform. Judging from the exposure of AnTuTu, this SoC ran out 622409 points. This score has exceeded most Snapdragon 865 models. After comparing various data, we found that the CPU part of this SoC is still slightly inferior to the Snapdragon 865, but it has a small lead in the GPU part.
As mentioned earlier, this SoC will use a 6nm process technology. This is special because most of the flagship mobile phone SoCs are currently gradually transitioning from the 7nm process to the 5nm process, such as Apple’s A14 Bionic, and Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 875. In terms of CPU architecture, MT6893 may adopt a three-cluster architecture, of which there is one Cortex- A78 core with a main frequency of 3.0GHz, the other three A78 cores with a main frequency of 2.6GHz, and four Cortex- with the main frequency of 2.0GHz A55 energy-saving core.
According to the reports, OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi and even Huawei have plans to carry this chip. Unfortunately, there is almost no news about these models, so we have no way of guessing when they will be launched. But what is certain is that the price-performance ratio of these models should be quite good, after all, as a sub-flagship, the price is still under pressure.
