Meizu Announces Meizu Note 9 with dual camera, water drop notch and thin border

Meizu has officially organized a launch event today in China where the company has unveiled its new smartphone Meizu Note 9.

Meizu’s VP Li Nan, during the conference and opening speech emphasized on three major attributes including good look, smooth performance and strong camera, perhaps there are the main selling points of Meizu Note 9.

Meizu has designed 3mm ultra-narrow forehead drop screen and 3.1mm narrow border. The screen to body ratio of this device is 89.23%. Additionally, Meizu Note 9 uses R-angle and G-curvature design which is available in some high-end smartphones.

Meizu has worked hard to design and customize the best water drop screen, the phone also features Type-C usb port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The back cover is built with high-gloss porcelain dialogue process which has curvature of the palm and glass texture, it looks more dynamic and transparent that metal back cover.

Meizu has also decreased the space for fingerprint sensor at the rear, the company admires the unlocking speed and accuracy of the sensor which is 0.2 seconds and 99% respectively.

The phone comes in three colors including White, Starlight blue and fantasy black.

Under the hood, Meizu features Snapdragon 675 chipset as confirmed by Geekbench earlier and a 4GB+64GB for the base model and 6GB+64GB. The phone features a 6.2-inch HD+ display.

According to GSMArena, the price is also revealed which is $253 for 4GB model and $283 for 6GB model.The phone is quite affordable for the large chunk of market in China as well as Asia, However, Meizu has not confirmed when the company is launching the device in other countries. If Meizu launches the device in Pakistan it is expected to come with a price tag of somewhere between Rs30,000 to Rs35,000.
