According to the news sources, Met office has installed state-of-the-art systems at all major airports in Pakistan.
Director General of Met Ghulam Rasool spoken to media and said that a modern system has been provided to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in order to get hands on real-time weather updates and forecasts.
This system is efficient enough to provide real-time data to and from flights at Islamabad International Airport. The system will be installed before starting operations of new Islamabad airport, which is under construction currently.
Using this system, pilots of Europe and US-bound flights will be able to foresee weather conditions on complete routes.
DG further added and said that the software is will be taken from France in cooperation with Aviation authority.
