Microsoft 365 these functions will start shortly

Microsoft starts a number of new functions for Microsoft 365. From a new EDGE profile management to clearer team notifications to new copilot tools, there is a lot of interesting things to discover in the roadmap.

This is currently in progress for Microsoft 365

Microsoft has presented further innovations for its 365 platform. The updates concern well -known applications such as teams, Outlook, Edge and Copilot – and above all should simplify and structure daily work. As usual, details are available in the Microsoft 365 roadmap.

Edge profile detection

For users who work with various profiles in the EDGE browser – for example separately for private and professional purposes – an upcoming update brings a practical innovation. So far, the standard setting once chosen has been valid for all links, even if they come from apps such as teams or Outlook. From August, Edge can now see which profile is preferred by the respective application and follow this proposal. For companies, a new administrative guideline called Edgeopenexternallall links is available for this purpose, with which the behavior can be controlled centrally.

Teams filters noise from telephone calls

Microsoft Teams get a number of improvements in summer. As early as July, notifications will appear in compact mode – smaller and space -saving, without losing important information. A new memory function is also announced for August, with which contributions and messages mark directly and can be found more easily later.

Another helpful function will probably follow in September: background noises will be suppressed automatically in the future – especially for participants who dial by phone in meetings. Disturbing noises such as street noise or typing on the keyboard are filtered out, which significantly improves the comprehensibility in the conversation.

Outlook sorted attachments

If you often search for old file attachments in email conversations, you can look forward to a new Outlook function from July. In the future, all files divided into an email thread will be bundled at a central point-right at the beginning of the entertainment. This saves time and saves long scrolls through messages.

Copilot becomes more interactive

Microsoft’s AI assistant Copilot also gets new functions. Users can soon have a click from the Copilot notebook converted automatically into a FAQ or briefing page. For managers, “restricted access” is also planned to the Copilot dashboard: Statistics on the use and acceptance can be specifically displayed for individual teams – without access to data from other areas.
