Microsoft Announced The Launch Of Surface Duo In Europe Early 2021

Microsoft has now announced that the Surface Duo will come to Europe in spring 2021. The launch is also planned in other countries in a few weeks – but there is no exact date yet.

The group has now announced this itself in a blog post about the new Surface Duo. Accordingly, after the sales start of its Android folding smartphone a few weeks ago in the USA, the company is now planning to enter other markets soon. More rumors about this had only recently been circulated. It was said that Microsoft was considering the start in early 2021 – that has now come true.

Further details will not be available until next year

Microsoft manager Pete Kyriacou, Vice-President of Microsoft Devices, wrote: “Since the introduction of the Surface Duo in August 2020, many people have asked when we would make this product available outside the US. We are now happy to announce that we will launch the Surface Duo in Canada, the UK, France, and Germany in early 2021. We look forward to releasing more information in early 2021, so stay tuned. “

At the same time, the double-display cell phone will also be launched in Canada, Great Britain, and France. Prices have not yet been communicated. Microsoft had already subjected the duo to an initial “price correction” and reduced the original price by $200 to $1200. In Europe, you should expect a price of just under 1200 euros.

Anyone interested in starting, can at Microsoft on a separate page for the launch log and then informed by e-mail as soon as details are available.
