Microsoft disruption: 365 services and Azure down

There are currently problems with some Microsoft services. The company has already announced via X that it is working on a solution. In addition to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Intune and Entra are also affected. We will update this article if there are any new developments. Worldwide disruption to Microsoft services

Since shortly after 1 p.m. German time, reports of disruptions to Microsoft 365 services and Azure have been piling up. The problems appear to be occurring not only regionally, but worldwide. Shortly before 3 p.m., the company then reported via the official Microsoft 365 status account on X and confirmed the problems. The extent of the disruption has now become clearer. Microsoft confirmed that the outage affects the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Intune, Entra and the Power Platform services.

However, it stresses that SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online are not affected. “We are analyzing the traffic patterns within part of the network infrastructure to support our investigations. We are also examining ways to mitigate the problem, including possible failovers to remedy the situation,” the company said.

Users who can access the affected Microsoft 365 services may experience latency or reduced functional performance. The official Azure Support X-Account has also commented on the situation and announced that they are working on a solution to the problems that have arisen. However, it is unclear how long it will take to resolve the problem.

The service pages of Office and Office 365 do not show any problems despite the confirmation of the problem by Microsoft. Only on the page for Azure status There is talk of an impairment of the network infrastructure.
