Microsoft Extends Your Phone App Support To Smartphones
According to a report, Microsoft has expanded its support to include additional devices that can run Android apps on a Windows 10 PC with the Your Phone app. The function has been ready since the beginning of the year and can be used outside the beta phase.
With Microsoft’s Your Phone app, several Android apps can now be run simultaneously on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the Galaxy Fold, and the Galaxy S20. According to a report by the MSPowerUser, Microsoft has worked with Samsung to further expand the list of compatible devices. Many of the functions that are made possible via the Your Phone application and a Windows 10 PC are only available exclusively for some Galaxy devices since the partnership between the two companies. According to MSPowerUser, more Galaxy devices are now starting to support running multiple Android apps on a paired computer at the same time.
Recently included devices:
- Samsung Galaxy Fold
- Samsung Galaxy Note10
- Samsung Galaxy Note10 +
- Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite
- Samsung Galaxy S20

The function was previously limited to a few (newer) Android devices from Samsung. It is not entirely clear when Microsoft expanded the device list, but it was not the case when the new function was launched. Microsoft’s Your Phone app is regularly getting new options for the interaction of smartphones and PC. The minimum requirements for the Your Phone functions include the Windows 10 May 2020 update or newer. The devices must be in the same WLAN for pairing.
