Microsoft is now collaborating with freeCodeCamp to introduce a complimentary certification program known as the Foundational C# Certification. This collaboration offers a comprehensive C# training course spanning 35 hours, available on Microsoft Learn.
In an official announcement, Microsoft’s Katie Savage expresses enthusiasm for the launch of the new Foundational C# Certification created in partnership with freeCodeCamp, a charitable organization focused on providing free educational resources for mathematics, programming, and computer science. This certification, which is accessible worldwide at no cost, includes a complete 35-hour C# training curriculum accessible through Microsoft Learn.
Savage explains that the certification course furnishes a solid groundwork in C#, encompassing essential topics such as variables, data types, control structures, and syntax, as well as practical software development applications. This certification can be featured on LinkedIn and is accessible to individuals across the globe.
To obtain this certification, navigate to the Foundational C# Certification pathway on freeCodeCamp’s platform, progress to the initial course, and select the first lesson. Upon concluding each course, you will earn a badge on Microsoft Learn. Once all training is successfully completed, you will have the opportunity to take the final examination.
In addition to this certification program, Microsoft has scheduled six office-hour streaming sessions on the .NET YouTube channel, taking place from September 20 to October 25, every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. UTC. In these sessions, presenters will review training courses, guide through projects, and address inquiries. Furthermore, there’s an option to enroll in a C# Challenge on August 29th.
