Microsoft Releases Netflix And Battery Improvement Updates For Surface Book 3 And Surface Laptop 3

Microsoft has now also started new firmware updates for the Surface Laptop 3 Intel version, the updates for AMD have been available for some time. There are also updates for the Surface Book 3. There are improvements to battery management.

The new updates improve the general stability and security as well as compatibility with the recently launched Surface Dock 2. Users can also look forward to improvements in connection with Netflix and Cortana, as well as battery life. The new updates are available for owners of a Surface Laptop 3 and Book 3 and have only recently been launched. The Surface Laptop 3 with the Intel processor is now also addressed after the AMD devices have already received the updates. According to support, all new updates are available for devices running at least the Windows 10 May 2019 update, version 1903, or higher.

The new firmware brings bug fixes and general stability improvements, as well as security-related changes and, is therefore recommended to all users. There are six updates for the Surface Book 3 and eight updates for the Surface Laptop 3.

Little details about the update content

However, details of the changes are only given superficially in the support documents and update history, as is so often the case, only brief information on the new drivers is available. There are currently no known problems. Surface updates are released in stages – not every Surface receives the update at the same time, but it is gradually delivered to all devices.
