Microsoft releases new ISO packages for Windows 11 Preview

Microsoft has now released a revised preview ISO package for Windows 11. These ISOs are only available to registered Windows Insiders. They are available after logging in with a Microsoft account and enabling a clean install. Microsoft will probably release the next major feature updates for Windows 10 and Windows 11 by October at the latest.

Until then, you can still take part in the tests via the Insider program to try out the changes and improvements now. Before the release, Microsoft would like further feedback on problems that have arisen and is therefore making a new ISO package available for registered Windows Insiders. This is reported by Martin Geuß dr Windows. The ISOs are important for testing with a freshly set up PC. The new version is based on the latest preview build released by the Windows team this week (build 25197, we reported).

This means that the voluntary testers in the Windows Insider program now have the opportunity to freshly set up the latest preview version. You can download the new ISOs on a refer to a special download page but must be enrolled in the Windows Insider program and signed in with their Microsoft account.

The ISOs are offered as personalized download links for registered Windows Insiders. This website for downloads can only be used as a registered Windows Insider, the generated links are valid for 24 hours. You can register for the Windows Insider program at any time with a Microsoft account and a supported device.

The regular Home Previews are now available, as well as the Windows 11 Pro and EDU editions. The ISOs are available in different language packages, German is also included. If Microsoft sticks to the previous release plans, the next Windows 11 version could be released shortly. However, Microsoft has not yet announced any specific dates.
