Microsoft Surface Pro 8 Leaks Are Unconfirmed Yet

Microsoft invites you to the Surface event on September 22nd. What should then be presented in detail is actually a secret – but now there is a new leak. Information about the Surface Pro 8 has now allegedly leaked in advance.

For Microsoft, things are only going halfway well with confidentiality this year. Next Wednesday, because September 22nd, the group invites you to the big “Surface Event” and what it currently looks like, Microsoft will have no more secret with it. First, information about the Surface Go 3 leaked, then documents about the Surface Duo 2 surfaced. Now a leaker on Twitter reports that he has found details about the Microsoft Surface Pro 8.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has turned up at a dealer. A new Surface will be shown with a 13-inch instead of 12.3-inch display and Thunderbolt ports instead of the previous USB-A connections and, according to the advertising material, support for 120 Hz. However, you can’t really be as sure as to whether the information published on Twitter by a leaker is actually authentic.

Information is Correct?

Tech journalist Zac Bowden at least urges caution, because according to his information only some of the technical details are correct and the image of the speaker should also not be appropriate. Bowden reports: “For your information: Although some of the information appears to be correct, the device in this picture is * NOT * the Surface Pro 8, just the Surface Pro X, which MS released last year. The Pro 8 is similar but not identical to this one.”

Of course, this also calls into question the truthfulness of the rest of the information. Ultimately, we will not be able to answer the question of authenticity until Wednesday. We will have to be surprised.
