Microsoft Teams And Skype Not Working Together

Microsoft has announced that exchange between teams and Skype has been released. The Microsoft article in question speaks of the fact that the function is available everywhere. But since then we have been unable to exchange chat messages or make a call. In the admin settings of teams, Skype communication was activated without any notice.
When we send chat messages from a team to a Skype contact, it seems to work at first. But after almost 15 seconds there is an error message in teams that the message could not be delivered. Chat messages do not get through from Skype to teams either. Unlike teams, there are no error messages here. For the Skype user, it looks as if the messages have arrived.
Calls between teams and Skype are not possible
Calls from teams to Skype are also not established. The same applies the other way round. In teams, there is only a vague hint that no connection is possible. Skype claims that the teams contact is not online, even though the accounts in Teams and Skype are online. Microsoft also failed to meet the second scheduled collaboration date between teams and Skype. Most recently, the software company planned to provide the function in May 2020. Now it should be ready in June 2020 and execution has been reported, but it still doesn’t really work. It is currently unknown when the feature will be generally available.
