Microsoft Windows 10: Monthly active users reached 500 million

Recently, Microsoft rolled out the monthly active users of Windows 10 and its other products. The US-based company says that it has an active user base of 500 million. These users have been profoundly using Microsoft Windows 10 and the numbers are still rising.

Satya Nadella, CEO Microsoft presented the great news on the very first day of Microsoft’s Build 2017. The CEO also told that last September the number of monthly active Windows’ users were 400 million. Which now has given a raise of 100 million in just seven months.

Last week, Microsoft launched Windows 10 S and Surface Laptop. Surface Laptop is a lightweight equipment reaching schools in the USA. The company then announced that an estimated amount of 300 million users use Microsoft Windows 10 for 3.5 hours a day.

Other figures presented by Satya Nadella included the use of Office 365 and Cortana (Microsoft’s digital assistant) by around 100 million and 140 million users respectively.
