Moto G9 Launching On August 24

Motorola has presented the new Moto G9 in India, which is likely to be launched in this country as the Moto G9 Play. It’s a new entry-level smartphone that stays true to the Moto G series concept: lots of hardware for little money. According to Xda Developers, the Moto G9 with 5000mAh battery in launched in India for Rs. 11,499 only.

The Motorola Moto G9 offers a 6.5-inch IPS display that only has a resolution called HD + with 1560×720 pixels. The panel is in 20:9 format and has a teardrop-shaped notch on the upper edge in which the front camera with the 8MP resolution is housed.

According to Gadgets 360 the device launch date in India which is August 24 is accidentally revealed by the company, well whatever the reason was for revealing the launch date its good for users anyway. As far as the core specifications are concerned, under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 is doing its job, with eight computing cores with up to 2.0 gigahertz providing sufficient performance. The chip is not a real upgrade compared to the Snapdragon 665 from the previous G8 model. Although it offers an improved processing unit for image processing, it has to make do with a slower modem.

The working memory of the Moto G9 (Play) is always four gigabytes, while the internal flash memory has a capacity of 64 GB and can be expanded via a microSD card slot. Motorola relies on the latest standard fare for the cameras: the main sensor has a resolution of 48 megapixels and an F / 1.7 aperture to capture as much light as possible. There is also a depth sensor and a macro camera with two megapixels each, which the manufacturer could have saved.

With a 5000mAh battery, the Moto G9 (Play) should achieve very decent runtimes and can be charged relatively quickly thanks to a 20-watt power adapter. Additional features include ac-WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, optional NFC, and a headphone jack. The operating system is Android 10. The Moto G9 costs Rs.11,449 which is roughly 140 euros in India. The device is also expected to land in Pakistan, the Mobile Price Pakistan is not yet unveiled neither it is confirmed but Motorola is far from leaving the closely related market unattended with this device.
