New Fighting Game Trailer, Closed Alpha Coming Soon

In the platform fighting game MultiVersus, a number of different characters from different worlds meet – for example, Batman, Shaggy, Tom & Jerry, or Bugs Bunny have their fists flying. A new cinematic trailer now sets the tone for the rather unusual encounters. It’s no coincidence that MultiVersus is reminiscent of the hugely successful Super Smash Bros. series, except it’s not Nintendo, it’s Warner Bros. which brings together some of the most popular characters.

In addition to 1-on-1 matches, the team of two can also compete against each other, both online and locally. Unlike Super Smash Bros. MultiVersus is released for multiple platforms, namely PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, supporting crossplay.

MultiVersus will be launched this year as a free-to-play title, and interested parties can register, register for the closed alpha, which starts on May 19. There’s one on the game’s website Overview of all previously announced characters the list will also be continuously expanded.
