No More Touch IDs A Probable Plan for Next Year’s iPhones

To believe in the rumors airing about the next years’ iPhones is way too early. But if such people like Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst who has built a strong prior record relating predictions about Apple’s hardware informs that there are probable chances that Apple may replace Touch ID in the phones to be launched in 2018 after the phones of the current year that is iPhone 8, 8 Plus & X. This information was shared by MacRumors after Kuo’s note. It is hoped that by that time various components of the phone would be ready. The Face ID system is thought to be the holdup that may badly restrict the supply of iPhone X in November when it would be put on sale, specifically November 3rd.

The iPhone X is the first Apple phone to introduce a design with no home button and the Apples’ new Face ID technology. Kuo forecasts that iPhone 8 was the last smartphone by Apple to have Touch ID system from the year ahead Apple would go all in for the Face ID technology. Kuo wrote that via doing this Apple would be getting a competitive benefit over its competitors through distinction by introducing the Face Recognition ID application.

Earlier when asked Kuo had avoided talking about Face ID replacing Touch ID technology by just saying that all depends on the people that how well they take it in this new feature by Apple in iPhone X, but now he seems assured that this would be the company’s strategy.
He mentioned in another note that he anticipates that the iPad Pro would also be equipped with facial recognition system in the next year once the line is reorganized.
