One UI 5.0 Beta To Launch Next Month With October Stable Rollout

With the Android 13 release later this year, Samsung’s One UI skin will be getting its 5.0 version. SamMobile reports that Samsung will launch its Android 13/One UI 5.0 beta in the third week of July.

The program allows eligible devices to test One UI 5.0 before its official release. This will be the case starting with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series.

Samsung’s timing this year is better than the previous beta cycle. One UI 4.0 beta launched last year with the Galaxy S21 Series in September, with the official rollout occurring last November. One UI Beta 5.0 is expected to arrive in July, according to reports. The October release date for the Galaxy S22 series will be announced.

Samsung made a promise with the Galaxy S22 series that all its flagships would receive 5 years’ worth of updates. It seems that timely updates are part of that commitment. Although the OEM has not been known for delivering timely and frequent updates in the past, we have seen a lot of effort by Samsung over recent years with its S series or Z foldable.
