A new video from the YouTuber MKBHD reveals the design of the currently hotly debated OnePlus Nord. The manufacturer reports in detail about the development process of the upcoming mid-range smartphone, which focuses primarily on a good price-performance ratio.

The “official unveiling” of the final design confirms the previously leaked images, which were shared among others by Leaker Evan Blass (evLeaks).

Anyone who takes a look at the video will get an insight into the creation of the design and the final look of the OnePlus Nord from the 13th minute. A quad-camera system on the back and two front cameras are also confirmed. According to rumors, resolutions of up to 48 megapixels are to be achieved here. Experts are also speculating about a possible configuration with a 6.44-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and the Snapdragon 765G chip including 5G connection. The battery capacity of the OnePlus Nord should also be 4115 mAh.
Google Android 10 should appear as the operating system, with a simultaneous announcement of an Android 11 update. In terms of price, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has already announced that the new Nord smartphones will not exceed the $500 mark. At the first dealers, placeholders were also spotted, which were the equivalent of around 475 euros. However, confirmation is not expected until July 21, 2020, when OnePlus Nord officially celebrates its premiere. At the same time, the manufacturer announced that it would launch its OnePlus Buds, its first True Wireless headphones on the market as AirPods competition.
