OnePlus Nord2 CE Comes With 5G and 64W Charging

With the Nord2 CE, OnePlus will soon be introducing a new mid-range smartphone that will again offer 5G support and good basic equipment at a comparatively low price. According to a leak, the OnePlus Nord2 CE will come with a MediaTek SoC.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the OnePlus Nord2 CE will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen that should deliver good image quality with an FHD + resolution. The maximum refresh rate is specified as 90 Hertz, while the fingerprint reader should sit under the display surface again, as in the previous model.

Under the hood is now supposedly a MediaTek Dimensity 900 Octacore SoC, which, with its mixture of two high-end and six power-saving cores, achieves clock rates of up to 2.2 gigahertz. The working memory is supposedly between six and 12 gigabytes, depending on the model. The internal flash memory is estimated at 128 or 256 GB.

In addition, the device, which is said to be developed by OnePlus under the code name “Ivan”, has a total of three cameras, with the main sensor working with a resolution of 64 megapixels. In addition, there is supposedly an 8-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots, while OnePlus also installed a 2-megapixel sensor for macro images. There is also a 16-megapixel camera for self-portraits on the front.

The battery of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE is reportedly 4500mAh and can be charged with a suitable power supply unit with a maximum of 65 watts if necessary. OnePlus does without the alert slider in its affordable mid-range device, but at least has installed a headphone jack and stereo speakers. The operating system is Android 12 with the OxygenOS 12 interface.
