OnePlus Rolling Out May 2021 Update to the OnePlus 7 and 7T

It isn’t long since we received the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T with OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11. And now we are witnessing another update. OnePlus is now pushing a newer update for the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro to fix some known problems produced by the latest version of the OS.

According to the leak, the most important fix would be the one related to connectivity. We are now seeing Google Fi SIM issues been resolved. We also heard that the 4G and Wi-Fi performance are now greatly improved.

The native Phone and Camera apps on these two devices also have been updated, and so are the Gallery app and Shelf. All of these apps were causing problems to many owners.

In addition to this, we also see a security patch update. The duo is now getting the May 2021 security patch. So if you own any of these two devices, you could expect an update notification soon, or you may head towards the phones’ setting to see and download the update manually.
