Back in 2019, OPPO introduced its first foldable smartphone prototype. And since then, it didn’t say a word about it (at least not to our knowledge, until recently.
According to a leakster Digital Chat Station (DCS), Oppo plans to launch its first foldable smartphone this year. Not only this, but DCS also revealed that the company would come up with two models – one with an 8-inch display and the other with a 7-inch display; both will have an inward folding design. Moreover, it is also said that the 7-inch device has been in mass production in January, which means it would be the first to arrive in stores.
In other news, Vivo is also found working on a foldable phone, which is expected to be inward folding. The device will have an 8-inch internal and a 6.5-inch external display, a high refresh rate for at least one of the panels. The panels are expected to come from Samsung.
