Pixel 8 by Google will be official on October 4
For a long time, most of us have been waiting for the arrival of the next flagship smartphones by the big tech giants like Google and Apple, and Techtember, and Techtober 2023 have finally arrived. Just recently, we got to know that the Cupertino-based tech company sent invites for the launch event of the iPhone 15 series. Now, the tech giant Google has also sent out invitations for the launch event of the Pixel 8 series.
Reportedly, Google will be hosting the event in New York City. Besides the Pixel 8 series, the company will debut some other gadgets like a new pair of Pixel Buds. It will be the first time that Google debuts the Tensor G3 chip, Google’s third-generation Tensor chipset. Do note that the Tensor chipsets are specific for Pixels. Expectedly, the upcoming chipset is a huge improvement over the first two chipsets.

In the past few years, Google has debuted its new flagship devices alongside some other products at the fall event. However, this year, there is no clue about the arrival of any other products. Perhaps, the company will introduce a new pair of Pixel Buds, a Chromecast with Google TV, or something else. Nest occasionally joins in the party and rolls out some new products as well.
Additionally, Google is probably going to reveal some brand-new software features that will only be available on Pixel devices in October. These will probably appear in the upcoming Pixel Feature Drop in December, or possibly even a little later. More details will be available at the official event; until then, we have to wait.
