Pixel phones are all set to receive the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3 updates

The tech company Google has started rolling out the updates for Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3 to Pixel phones. The recent release is introduced with the ‘T2B3.230109.002’ version. It is accompanied by several bug improvements as well as other issues.

Since the company has modified the changelog with “Developer-reported and user-reported issues” and “Other resolved issues”. It includes the whole list of changes and modifications. Users can visit the Play Store to have a deeper level of understanding of the new changes.

The new updates have fixed various bugs. For instance, one bug was presented with notifications. They were presented with straight corners in the notifications group. In addition to this, while making changes to the Quick Settings tiles the overflow menu couldn’t be opened. Some users reported that their devices would vibrate for longer upon receiving notifications. Well, all such bugs and others have been fixed.

Moreover, a GPU issue was also presented to some users. it restricted apps from utilizing some visual effects. The Pixel Launcher bug has also been resolved that previously crashed the app when the Search bar was used. Besides this, the PiP issue has also been resolved. Some users reported issues with PiP mode while changing the device orientation, and during turning on or off the mode. It didn’t allow the users to access the system’s Settings.

QPR betas are different as compared to developer previews and regular betas. They are considered safer for general use. In addition to this, they consist of several upgrades for bug fixes and improvements. Interestingly, they are packed with user-facing features. the user-facing features are not introduced with Pixel phones as a package in feature Drops.

The stable Android 13 QPR2 beta 3 will arrive in March. It will be the final upgrade. The important thing to notice here is that it works with Pixel 4a, 4a (5G), 5, 5a, 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, and 7 Pro. Users can access it from Android Beta for the Pixel program. The update will be introduced over the air.
