So far, we are all aware that Google will be holding its launch event for the Pixel 8 series next month, i.e., on October 4 in New York City. In addition to the Pixel 8 smartphone series, the company will debut a few other products. The company is sharing glimpses of its upcoming products. Just recently, the company shared a video that showcases the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 from different angles.
The video unveils the IP68 label on the back of the smartwatch. It clearly indicates that the smartwatch is waterproof. Well, it is quite interesting given the fact that the first Pixel Watch was not certified for water resistance.
Notably, Google has shared sneak peeks of the Pixel 8 series and the Pixel Watch 2. It’s an intriguing move on Google’s part. Prior to the launch, most companies prefer to keep leaks to a minimum and a secret, but Google is acting in the opposite way. But for them, this is nothing new. They kind of began doing this a few years ago with the release of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G.
Because of the date, it’s intriguing. The most anticipated smartphone announcement of the year, the iPhone event, is only a few days away. And it seems like Google wants to take some of Apple’s focus away. By doing so, they essentially unveiled every one of their products before the event on October 4.
