POCO M3 Pro 5G is Now Coming to India on June 8

POCO released the POCO M3 Pro 5G on May 19 this year. This was the first POCO M series phone to witness a 90Hz refresh rate and 5G connectivity. The device is now coming to India on June 8 through Flipkart.

Before starting, the fans need to know that this not a new phone, rather a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G, which was launched in India. Since the Redmi Note 10 5G never officially came to India, the company decided to launch it with a new name, i.e. the POCO M3 Pro 5G.

Now to the main topic. This smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate display that goes as high as 500 nits in terms of brightness. It will also have a punch-hole notch.

This POCO smartphone will get its power from an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, built on a 7nm fabrication process. The processor is paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The graphics are handled by an integrated Mali-G57 GPU. The handset will run Android 11-based MIUI 12.

On the camera side, we have a triple-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, paired with a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, we have an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

This new POCO smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit with 18W fast charging support. Other notable specifications of the device include a USB Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-res audio certification, an IR blaster, Dual Sim, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.

Price

The POCO M3 Pro with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is expected to come for Rs 16,000, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants is expected to come for Rs 17,800.
