Earlier this month, Samsung unveiled the latest flagship Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Ring. As of now, some recent pieces of information suggest that the company is working on a new fitness tracker. We have been hearing about the Galaxy Fit 3 since November 2023, as the gadget appeared in leaks and certification websites. Currently, the wearable gadget was spotted on the company’s website and was taken down. However, some of the details about the Galaxy Fit 3 were gathered by Gadgets and Wearables and the Samsung Community.
The images of the Galaxy Fit 3 were shared accidentally by one of Samsung’s regional websites. The renders indicate that the wearable bears the same rectangular design. It accompanies a quick-release button mechanism. It has two options for strap color: black and orange. On the right side of the device, a physical button can be found.
The details about the specifications were shared by the Samsung Community. It features a 1.57-inch AMOLED display and an aluminum unibody. The gadget is IP68-certified. It bears the 5ATM water resistance as well. It weighs 18.5 grams. In terms of display quality, it is a significant improvement over the Galaxy Fit 2, which made its debut back in 2020.
When it comes to fitness features, the gadget is equipped with a light sensor, sleep tracker, fall detection, and an optical heart rate sensor. The Galaxy Fit 3 features support for more than a hundred different exercise modes. One thing to notice here is that it has no support for a built-in GPS, speaker, or NFC. Additionally, the information reveals that the gadget offers up to 13 days of battery life. The leak indicates that the Galaxy Fit 3 has support for features like notifications, camera control, find my phone, music playback, and more.
Besides all these details, there is no clue about the price of the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3. It might be priced at $80. Since the device was accidentally listed, it is anticipated that it might launch quite soon.
