Key specs for Honor’s upcoming 5G tablet have been released

In the Chinese market, Honor recently debuted the Honor Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, and the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design. The company is set to launch these devices on the international market at the MWC 2024 event. According to a fresh leak from tipster Digital Chat Station, Honor is working on a new 5G-enabled tablet. Reportedly, the tablet will be exclusive to the Chinese market. In this short piece, we will uncover the details about the specs of the upcoming tablet.

The tipster claims that the tablet is an entry-level model. It will be powered by a Snapdragon chip. The forthcoming Honor tablet with 5G support will feature a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and eye protection support. There are no details about the battery size; however, the details indicate that it will feature support for 35W fast charging.

In addition to this, the company is also working on a flagship tablet. It will be accompanied by a satellite connectivity feature, reveals the tipster. Sadly, the marketing names of these tablets were not disclosed by the leaker. The company usually announces its tablets under the Pad and Pad X brands. Last year, in December, the company debuted the Honor Pad 9, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in China. It is also known as the Honor Tablet 9 and lacks cellular connectivity.

The Honor Pad X9, on the other hand, was unveiled in July 2023 in China. It is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset. The Wi-Fi-only and LTE versions of this tablet are available in the international market. It is possible that the entry-level 5G tablet that the leaker is referring to is the Pad X9’s replacement. Consequently, the tablet may be named Honor Pad X10 when it launches.
