Realme launched the Realme 7 Pro along with Realme 7 back in September in India. Realme has been pretty consistent in rolling out monthly security patches and bug fixing updates so far. The company rolled out the RMX2170_11_A.17 update with the October Android security patch and camera optimizations for the smartphone in October. Now, the company has started rolling out another update bringing the December Android security patch to the Realme 7 Pro. The latest Realme 7 Pro update comes with version RMX2170PU_11.A.25. Let us have a detailed look at the features, optimizations, and bug fixes the update brings to the Realme 7 Pro.

Realme 7 Pro gets December Android security patch,

The company, since the launch, has been trying to fine-tune the camera performance of the Realme 7 Pro with updates. Realme 7 Pro A.17 update had brought several camera optimizations to the device. With the latest update, Realme is optimizing the clarity of the front camera. Apart from it, the company has also made some changes and updated the Game Space. The update also fixes an issue due to which users could not adjust the volume when connected to a Bluetooth headset in some scenarios. Let us have a look at the changelogs below,

Security
● Android security patch: December 2020

Camera
● Optimized the clarity of the front camera

System
● Updated Game Space
● Fixed the issue that importing contacts via Bluetooth sharing fails in some scenarios
● Fixed the issue that the volume cannot be adjusted when connected to a Bluetooth headset in some scenarios

The update is being rolled out in a staged roll-out manner as confirmed by Realme in a community post, so you may or may not have received the update on your unit. In the staged roll-out phase, an update is randomly pushed out to a limited number of users and a broader rollout starts a few days later. Realme has already rolled out Realme UI 2.0 Beta, based on Android 11 for the Realme 7 Pro. We can expect the company to roll-out the Android 11 Stable update for the smartphone sometime next month.

Realme 7 Pro has been nominated for the Best Budget Phone of 2020 award by the IGA jury.
