Realme Note 50 could be the first of a potential new “Note” series from Realme

According to some recent pieces of information, Realme is all set to expand its smartphone portfolio. The new information comes from recent certification in Thailand’s NBTC. A gadget with the model number RMX3834 called Realme Note 50 is shown in the listing; this could be the beginning of a new “Realme Note” series.

In November 2023, a device with the same model number was spotted at the Eurasian Economic Commission. Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the specs and features of the smartphone in the certifications. The current lineup of the company is quite vast. It has the capacity to cater to a wide range of price segments. The company has introduced the C-series as a budget-friendly smartphone series.

On the other hand, the number series are targeted at mid-range and upper-mid-range segments. The GT range, which includes flagship models like the most recent GT 5 Pro, is for power users. There’s also the V-series, which is only available in China. It’s unclear what market niche Realme would target with the Note series given its current array of products. We will have to wait and see what intentions they have for this prospective smartphone family member.

In addition to this, the company is all set to introduce a new smartphone to the Indian market. According to details, the company kind of confirmed that the Realme 12 series will debut in India on January 3. The two members, i.e., Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, were spotted on multiple certifications globally. The Pro variant of the series is anticipated to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 32MP telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom capacity. On the other hand, the 12 Pro+ will feature a high-resolution 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
