Realme Releases Q Series With Realme Q2 5G, Q2 Pro 5G, And Q2i 5G

Realme Q2 series conference was conducted today as scheduled. Along with the two heavy models of Realme Q2 and Realme Q2 Pro, realme also brings us another surprise-the new Realme Q2i. This is also a smartphone that achieves “5G leapfrogging”. The price starts at only 998 yuan roughly $149

Realme Q2i is equipped with the latest 7nm process technology Dimensity 720 chip, supports dual-mode 5G multi-band network, built-in 5000mAh large battery, more 5G power optimization technology, Standard 128GB large memory, supports fingerprint unlocking and face recognition. This phone will officially start pre-sale at 0:00 on October 21st in China. The release of the device in other countries is not known yet.

Realme Q2 5G, The regular Realme Q2 comes with a slightly bigger panel on the front – a 6.5” LCD, meaning the fingerprint scanner made its way on the side. Just like its Pro big bro, the vanilla Q2 has a Dimensity 800U chip but it comes with either 4GB or 6GB RAM while the storage is 128GB.

The Q2 has the same 48MP main camera and 8MP ultrawide snapper, but only gets one of the 2MP extra units – for macro. A 16MP selfie snapper on the front is nested in a punch hole in the left corner.

The Realme Q2 brings more battery capacity – 5,000 mAh but the fast-charging rate is “only” 30W which is still nicely speedy.

The phone is officially listed for CNY1,299 ($200/€165) or CNY1,399 ($210/€175), but both variants have an initial discount of CNY100. There are two colors – Blue and Silver – and the phone’s first flash sale is scheduled for October 19. It is worth mentioning that Realme also released a 5G mobile phone with a price of less than one thousand yuan, Realme V3. This phone is equipped with Dimensity 720 processor, a built-in 5000mAh large battery supports 18W fast flash charging, and the price starting at 999 yuan which is roughly the same $149,  Realme V3 is the first domestic 5G mobile phone within 1,000 yuan in China. Realme has not announced any date for the international launch of these devices yet.
