Xiaomi was recently spotted with a new Redmi smartphone having a 50MP camera. According to some leaks, we heard that this device comes with a 50MP 1/1.12-inch GN2 sensor. As of now, we don’t know the name of this device, so that we might address it as Redmi 50MP.
Just to let users know that Xiaomi is also prepping up to launch the Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G in China.
Coming back to the phone under consideration, this new phone has the same sensor found in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The Mi 11 Ultra in China comes with a 1/1.12” sensor.
Moreover, we heard this new Redmi device would come with a triple rear camera setup, having a 50MP 1/1.12-inch Samsung GN2 sensor. The primary sensor will be an f/1.95 aperture and 4-in-1 pixel binning. It will also support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).
The other camera would be a 13MP ultra-wide camera sensor, having a 123-degree field of view and an f/2.4 aperture. We also heard that this new Redmi 50MP would feature a periscope lens with up to 50x zoom. The telephoto camera will have an 8MP sensor and support OIS.
