Samsung Announces Galaxy Unpacked Event On July 10 In Paris

Shortly after Google, Samsung has now surprisingly announced the launch date for its latest high-end smartphones. As expected, the Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will take place on July 10, 2024.

Date is set

As Samsung Electronics has just announced, it plans to present its new foldable smartphones on July 10th. The Unpacked event for the second half of the year will not only feature the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with the large, horizontally foldable display, but also the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which will again be able to be folded vertically.

Samsung’s announcement said that Paris was chosen as the venue in this case. It is the first time in years that a European city has been chosen as the location for a Samsung launch, as the new top smartphones in the Galaxy series were recently presented at central events in the USA or South Korea.

Foldables, Smartwatches, and the Galaxy Ring

Samsung did not provide any specific details in its announcement for the second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year, but said that it wanted to show how the company’s own “Galaxy AI” will also find its way into the “Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem” in the future. In addition to the two new smartphones in the Galaxy Z series, a third model is also planned, which will only be available in a few markets as the Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra.

In addition, the new smartwatches from the Galaxy Watch7 series and the Galaxy Watch Ultra are certainly among the products that Samsung plans to present at the event. Another topic will probably be the so-called Samsung Galaxy Ring, with which Samsung wants to enter the market for ring-shaped fitness trackers .

As far as innovations in the Galaxy Z series are concerned, there will probably be a revised design in which the case will be a little more angular. Various leaks have also mentioned new cameras and slightly larger batteries. Samsung will once again broadcast the Galaxy Unpacked event live on the Internet: on July 10, 2024 from 3 p.m.
