Samsung Galaxy A34 and A54 New Images Surfaced

Samsung will be launching the new mid-range smartphones from the Galaxy A series towards the end of March. The Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 have already been seen several times, so the specs are known and now more official marketing images.

The Samsung Galaxy A series is said to be selling millions again, after all, the mid-range smartphones are the Korean electronics giant’s number-one driver, even ahead of the Galaxy series. Visually, Samsung is noticeably adapting the devices to the design of the more expensive S series this year, so a significantly simpler design is used.

As with the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung also dispenses with all “camera humps” with the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54, but only uses a continuously flat back from which the cameras protrude slightly. In addition, the number of cameras on the back is reduced to just three, after a mostly pointless fourth sensor for depth effects or macro shots was previously on board.

The frame gets a little wider

On the front, it is noticeable that Samsung has made the frame around the display a little wider than on the Galaxy A33 and A53, at least when it is shown in the marketing images. It remains to be seen to what extent this will also show up in real devices. In any case, the front of the Galaxy A34 and A54 is again completely flat.

The A54 has a 6.4-inch SuperAMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hertz, is based on the new Exynos 1380 octa-core SoC, and comes in Europe with eight gigabytes of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal flash memory with MicroSD extension therefore. The main camera now offers 50 megapixels, while Samsung also installs an ultra wide-angle camera with 12 megapixels and a 5 MP camera. At the front is a 32-megapixel camera. The battery is generously dimensioned with 5000mAh and there is an IP67 certification.

The Galaxy A34 even offers a 6.6-inch SuperAMOLED panel with a maximum of 120 Hertz and 1080p resolution. The MediaTek MT6877V octa-core SoC comes with six or eight GB RAM, 128 or 256 GB flash memory with a MicroSD option, a 48-megapixel main camera, as well as two 8- and 5-megapixel cameras, and a 13- Megapixel front camera used. Again, the battery will be 5000mAh and there is also an IP67 certification.
