Samsung Galaxy A52 4G To Come With Snapdragon 720G: Geekbench

Last week for the first time we set our sights on the probable design of Galaxy A52, a crucial model in Samsung’s chessboard: the predecessor’s Galaxy A51 and A50, in fact, were best-sellers, establishing themselves as a reference for the mid-range. The aesthetic differences with the A51 will be few, we have seen it  (same speech for A72), but under the body, there could be an important change.

In fact, both the 5G and 4G models of the Galaxy A52 have appeared on GeekBench: and both are equipped with a Qualcomm processor. Specifically, A52 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 750G, while on the 4G model we find the Snapdragon 720G.

In this case, the configuration of the 4G version seems to be the top one (or at least not the basic one), with 8GB of RAM instead of the 6GB that can be found in the 5G benchmark. In any case, these are cuts that in all probability we will see on both versions of the device. A curious and counterintuitive aspect is the performance: A52 4G, a benchmark in hand, is more performing than its counterpart with Snapdragon 750G.

There is currently no hint of an Exynos-chip version, but we can’t assume it’s not planned either. For sure we know that Galaxy A52 will arrive with SoC Snapdragon in both the 5G and 4G versions: however, we do not know if this will be the case in all markets, and if there will be other variants. Other features expected for Samsung’s mid-range are a 6.5 “Super AMOLED display, a rear quad-camera with 64 MP main sensor, 12 MP wide-angle, macro, and 5 MP depth sensor.
