Samsung Galaxy Note 20: Price, Specs & Release Date

The name ‘Galaxy Note 20’ has not been confirmed by Samsung but considering Galaxy line name jumping from 10 to 20, it is almost confirmed that Note line will also follow suit.

XDA Developers sourced the Galaxy S20 code and also found evidence of the Galaxy Note 20 series. Three different series in the code “Project XYZ,” “Project Canvas,” and “Project Winner2” were found by XDA. It is noted that Project Canvas is most likely a reference to the Galaxy Note 20.

Chances are that Samsung will launch two variants of the phone Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Plus.

The release date of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series will be sometime in August 2020. With the current ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the date can change.

There have been leaked photos of the handset that show that will be an inlay mold for the official Samsung Galaxy Note 20 LED View Cover.

Roland Quandt, Winfuture.de editor tweeted, “Here’s a fun one. This is a mold for an inlay for the official Samsung Galaxy Note 11 (Plus) LED View Cover. (Ignore the markings and the aspect ratio could be a little off, too).”

As per leaked images, it can be expected that the phone will feature a robust camera setup. It is possible that the hardware buttons might be moved to the right side of the device. As these are just leaked photos, this info must be taken with a grain of salt.

It is expected that Note 20 series will be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC and will have 5G connectivity. Also, it is expected that the handset will feature an IP68 water-resistance rating. Other features include wireless charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a multi-sensor camera setup.

It is expected that the battery capacity of the phone will start at 4,000mAh. Also, don’t expect a headphone jack in Note 20 series.

Samsung Galaxy Note series will be expensive. Note 20 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will start at $949 while Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will start at $1099.
